Blinis with salmon: a beautiful and delicius appetizer

Blinis with salmon are an idea easy and fast to bring to the table taste and a touch of originality. Delicious pancakes typical of the Russian cuisine, the blinis are ready in just 15 minutes. To prepare simply mix milk, cream, egg yolks and flour. You then add the melted butter, a pinch of salt and yeast. By this operation of obtains a batter, which is then cast into a non-stick pan creating small circular disks with a diameter of approximately 10 centimeters. Ingredients

  • 400 grams of milk
  • 200 g cream
  • 380 g flour
  • 3 egg yolks
  • 80 grams of melted butter
  • half a teaspoon of baking powder for pies
  • 360 g of philadelphia
  • 100 grams of greek yogurt
  • Chives
  • black or red caviar
  • 300 grams of smoked salmon
  • Salt and pepper

Method

Mix the milk with the cream and the egg yolks, then pour the flour before mixing with a whisk and then with an electric mixer. Add the melted butter, salt and baking powder and mix the batter.
Heat a frying pan and, using a spoon, pour small disks that bake a minute per side. Continue with cooking all blinis.
Prepare the cream mixing the philadelphia cheese with greek yogurt, finely chopped chives, lemon juice, a pinch of salt and pepper.
Mix the cream and, using a pastry bag with a medium nozzle grooved, forming small tufts on each blin.
Cut lengthwise the slices of salmon (as shown in the video) and the form of small roses.
Lies the salmon roses on each blini and decorate with black caviar and sprigs of chives.
